Number of stories in Colorado Judicial Center
Square footage of building’s green roof
The granite-clad, four-story Neoclassical building evokes the dignity of the courts with a columned façade. A glass-domed atrium symbolizing the transparency of democratic government faces northeast to the State Capitol, creating a link to the executive and legislative branches. A 12-story high-rise office consolidates the state’s judicial agencies to improve efficiency and save taxpayer dollars on leases. The courthouse will host the Supreme Court Law Library, a visitor’s Learning Center, and a 4,000-square-foot green roof.
